About Calvin College

Calvin College is a comprehensive liberal arts college in Grand Rapids, which is a city in the US state of Michigan, serving as the county seat of Kent County, with a population of more than 197 000 inhabitants, estimated during the 2000 census, which makes it the 114th largest city in the US, the 2nd largest city in the state and the largest city in West Michigan.

Athletics

Calvin's athletic teams are known as the Knights and they compete in NCAA Division III, for eight men's and nine women's intercollegiate teams. Their distinctive colors are maroon and gold.
